facts: Afghanistan is a southwestern Asian country bounded by China, Iran, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The capital city is Kabul. In the past centuries Afghanistan was the trade crossroads of Central Asia. The Pashtuns and the Hazara are the largest ethnic groups. Every day we hear about Afghanistan in the news bulletins.
