September 16 - October 20 Darwin explores the nature of the Galapagos Archipelago. November 15 - 26 VisitsTahiti. November 21 - 30 Visits New Zealand. Charles Darwin works on his theories about coral reefs for the London Geological Society, his notebook on Transmutation of Species, Zoology and Geology of the Voyage of the Beagle.
January Visits Sydney. February Visits Hobart. April Explores the Cocos and Keeling Islands. May 31 - June 18 Explores Mauritius and Cape of Good Hope. July Visits St Helena and Ascension Islands. August Returns to Brazil. September Visits the Azores in September. October 2 The Beagle lands at Falmouth, England. October 4 Charles Darwin returns to Shrewsbury and Londen. Publishes scientific papers on his collection of specimens. December 16 - March 6 1837 Lives in Fitzwilliam Street, Cambridge.
