Shares profits of the Ford Motor Company with his employees in Detroit and motivates them with a salary rise, the Wage Motive of $5.00 for an eight hour working day.

During World War I he sails to Norway on the Oscar II Peace Ship, a pacifist initiative to end the war.

Constructs an industrial factory near the Rouge River in Dearborn, Michigan.

President Woodrow Wilson asks Henry Ford to run for the U.S. Senate as peace candidate, but loses his bid.

Son Edsel descends Henry as President of Ford Motor Company.

Receives Hitler-representative Kurt Ludecke, but refuses to contribute.

Creates the Tri-Motor airplane.

Production of Model T stops. Launches the second Ford Model A in the new River Rouge plant. Closes The Dearborn Independent newspaper of his aide Ernest G. Liebold, due to the content.

Awarded the Grand Cross of the German Eagle, the highest medal of Nazi-Germany to foreigners.

Signs a contract with United Autoworkers Union.

Edsel Ford dies at the age of 49. Henry again Ford Motor Company president.

Grandson Henry Ford II new president.

Henry Ford dies of cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 83 in Fair Lane, Dearborn. Buried in Detroit.
