March 9 French Ingénieur Jean Bertin tests his N500-02 again. April 6 The stretched SR-N4 Princess Anne with Mk3 specifications or Super 4 is re-launched. July 5 New Dover Hoverport is opened at the Western Docks. 1978 September 15 The skirt of the Princess Anne is severely damaged near Wissant at the French coast. October 23 The Duke of Kent officially opens the New Dover Hoverport.
April 23 The stretched SR-N4 Princess Margaret with Mk3 specifications is re-launched. July 24 New Boulogne Hoverport is opened. August 17 The Ingenieur Jean Bertin N500 Naviplane strands at sea due to engine failure.
October The Princess Margaret is damaged by huge waves.
