Jack Roosevelt Robinson Jr. is born in Cairo, Georgia to Mallie and Jerry Robinson.
Rachel Isum is born in Los Angeles.
Attends George Washington High School. Brother Mack wins the silver medal in the 200-meter dash of the Summer Olympics Berlin, Germany, behind Jesse Owens. Winner of the Pasadena Table Tennis Championship.
Attends Pasadena Junior College in in Pasadena, California.
Sets a national broad jump record in the Junior College Track Championships of the Amateur Athletic Union in Pomona.
Attends University of California, Los Angeles UCLA and graduates as the first to letter in four sports in one year at the university.
Meets Rachel Isum. Plays with the semi-professional football team Honolulu Bears, the first official team in my Jackie Robinson timeline.
Plays a tryout with the Chicago White Sox. Joins the United States Army.
Promoted to Second Lieutenant.
Platoon leader of 761st U.S. Army Company B. Refuses to move to the back of a military bus at Fort Hood, Texas and is court-martialed for insubordination. Honorably discharged from active duty.
April Tryout with the Boston Red Sox, but the players and the manager don't show up. Plays in the Negroe Baseball League with the Kansas City Monarchs. Recruited by the Dodger Organization of general manager Branch Rickey.
February 10 Rachel Isum and Jackie Robinson are married in Los Angeles. Becomes the first African-American to play in the Minor League with the Montreal Royals. The Royals win the International League and the Little World Series. With a .349 average in 124 games Robinson becomes the International League batting champion.
Son Jackie Jr. is born.
