Eyes will open between days 8 and 10.
Ears will open between days 13 and 17.

Teeth begin to show.
Puppies begin to stand up and walk.
They learn to lap up liquids.
They no longer need stimulation to urinate or defecate.
They become more aware of their surroundings.
Puppies begin to play with each other.
Their sense of smell begins to develop.
They will begin choosing where to go to the bathroom.

Puppies begin to eat solid food.
They begin to bark and wag their tails. Biting, pawing, growling and chasing are other skills they gain this week.
They get tired easily.
Their depth perception increases.

Puppies will play in groups and sexual play begins.
They begin to establish an order of dominance between them.
They grow rapidly.
Puppies may get parvo shots at this age.
