Philip of Macedonia becomes the leader of the Greek city-states.

Alexander the Great begins his reign. Philip of Macedonia is assassinated.

Aristotle founds the Lyceum.

Alexander the Great defeats Persia in Anatolia.

Alexander the Great defeats the Persians at Issus.

Alexander the Great prevails at Tyre.

Alexander the Great invades Egypt and founds Alexandria.
